A TASTE OF JAPAN: THE ORIGINAL MINI-SERIES

SEASON 3 - EPISODE 1:

"BRINGING THE BOYS BACK HOME"

Just like it all happily started on season one with the 3 pancakes pic from Popsugar.com, suddenly and on season 2 it all ended up with the 3 kimchi episodes. At that point that has become strangely frustrating and disappointing, but in the months that followed it actually turned out to be a positive thing, specially by what we've end up learning not only about Korean food, but also about Asian cuisine in general.

As everybody remembers at that time (January to July 2018), the all World was more or less frozen with the events involving North Korea, and the outcome of that situation directly as it happened was far from any logical prediction. With that strange “sequence of miracles” that just happened, the all situation just cooled off by itself, and now the two Korea's seem to be in a good road for a peaceful coexistence and a mutual relationship.

At a World level, these events were some of the most important of 2018, as now that zone has become calm and without major conflicts. As globally this region has a strong influence on the world’s production and trading of many Asian products, everybody end up benefiting with the end of the conflict. It seems to be quite safe now to visit South Korea, Japan, China or Taiwan, and to learn and to experience locally about food, culture, geography or to know the people and the costumes of these Asian countries.

For us, however, it became time to bring the boys back home, so this season is just a simple journey in reverse, showing a few extra things that we’ve learned and gathered along the way.

Hope you enjoy,

Thanks for watching,
